Systemic Design

Understanding interconnectedness

The supply chain in the agrifood system is difficult to track and inaccesible to consumers. We wanted to identify a way to connect the system and make information easily-available.

Summary

Challenges

*Need for low-cost and effective technological solutions - intuitive

*Relevance of data (timing), security and interoperability

*Customer’s lack of trust

Process

We used the systemic design methodology in order to understand the connection between all actors and their roles within the supply chain. We also leveraged on the design thinking methodology to deepen the identification of the problem.

Solutions

Closed system approach

A “One-stop shop" that already has use cases in the market. As well as a Modular solution that integrates third party applications. This allows for faster iteration and availability.

Focus on Atma.io

A digital platform that captures the full chain of custody along the supply chain and get real-time insights into the flow of products. Collects and shares information about where and how products are made and what they are made of.

Attraction strategies

We developed 4 strategies that tackled all the main issues Atma io phases today, 1) lack of user engagement: Incentives through Cashback programs, 2)accesibility: Fix the user journey to have more direct entry-points, 3) B2B Focus: shift to B2C by offering a gamified experience on the application.
